India, June 17 (Prensa Latina) Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that India seeks for a peaceful arrangement with Pakistan although the latter must adopt strong ad effective actions to end anti-India terrorism. Singh made the announcement on his way home from the BRIC Summit with Brazil, Russia, India and China), and the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Ekaterimburgo.
The Indian Premier who met with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari said that if Pakistan shows courage and determination to follow the road of peace then India will join in.
India halted the Joint Peace Talks started in Islamabad in 2004 due to the terrorist attack in Mumbai that left 170 dead and over 300 wounded for which it blamed Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba organization.
